Frequently Asked Questions

General Enquires

  • Registered Training Organisations, known as RTOs, are recognised as providers of quality-assured and nationally recognised training and qualifications. RTOs must distinguish between accredited and/or nationally recognised training and assessment leading to the issuance of AQF certification from any other training or assessment they deliver. RTOs are also able to provide training that is not accredited or nationally recognised.

  • You can find the student handbook on our website, or you can access it directly here >> Student Handbook

  • Simply send an email to info@tlhtraining.com.au and we can amend the information.

Remember to be careful when entering your information; our system will print on your certificate EXACTLY what you enter at the enrolment screen.

  • If you’re currently enrolled in a nationally accredited course, or if you’re planning to do so, then it’s important that you register for a USI as soon as possible. Registering takes only a few minutes. We can assist with this process as well.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

  • RPL stands for Recognised Prior Learning.

RPL is an assessment process used by RTOs to evaluate a person's skills, knowledge, and experience gained through working and learning, in Australia or overseas and turn it into a Nationally Recognised Qualification. Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) like TLH Training Group can also provide credit against units of competency, often shortening the time needed to undertake a qualification.

This means, you can get qualified in weeks, not years and you can save money, as you won’t be paying for courses that you are already deemed competent in through your RPL Assessment.

TLH Training Group has a fast and efficient RPL Assessment Process which can be completed online.

  • If you would like to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning, simply tick the RPL box on your Enrolment Form. After enrolment, an RPL Assessor will contact you to discuss your evidence collection. Please also read the information on Recognition of Prior Learning in the Student Handbook.
